What is the Leo Mat made of?

Each Leo Mat is made from CertiPUR-US® certified foam — soft yet supportive — and wrapped in ultra-durable microsuede that’s buttery-soft, pet-friendly, and stain-resistant.

What are the dimensions?

Each full Leo Mat includes:

• 2 Base Cushions (Tri-fold): 72" x 33" x 10"
  • Each Base: 72” x 33” x 5”
• 2 Triangle Support Pillows: 24” x 14” x 14”
  

When fully expanded, the base cushions create a queen-sized bed (perfect for guests or sleepovers), or fold into 40+ imaginative builds.

How firm is the foam?

We use a medium-firm density that’s comfy for sitting, lounging, and building — but strong enough to hold its shape, even during epic fort battles.

How do I clean my Leo Mat?

Our covers are machine-washable! Wash them alone in cold water, then tumble dry low. Avoid bleach or high heat to protect the fabric and zippers.

Can I wash the foam inside?

The foam itself isn't washable — but we’ve got you covered! For added protection, check out our LeoProof™ Waterproof Cover. It adds a water-resistant barrier between your mat and life’s little messes.

Are the covers easy to remove?

Yes! Our heavy-duty YKK zippers make swapping or washing your covers easy — no tug-of-war required.

What age is Leo Mat best for?

Leo Mat is designed for kids 12 months and up, but even babies can enjoy supervised tummy time on the soft, supportive surface.

Is it safe for toddlers and older kids?

Yes! Toddlers love crawling, climbing, and flopping around on it — and older kids will use it for building forts, playing games, or just hanging out. Teens even use it as a comfy lounge space.

Can I use it for babies or newborns?

While Leo Mat is soft enough for tummy time, it's not intended for unsupervised infant sleep or as a crib alternative. Always supervise little ones during play.

Is Leo Mat safe for kids?

Yes! Leo Mat is made with CertiPUR-US® certified foam that’s free from flame retardants, heavy metals, and harsh chemicals. It also meets California’s TB-117 flammability standards for furniture.

Can my child sleep on it?

Leo Mat is perfect for lounging, sleepovers, and even guest beds — the two base cushions can form twin-size beds or a queen when combined.

That said, it’s not intended for unsupervised infant or toddler sleep, and shouldn't replace a crib or certified child mattress.

What ages is Leo Mat best for?

Recommended for ages 12 months and up — toddlers love it, older kids live on it, and grown-ups crash on it too.

Is there anything I should avoid?

Always supervise active play, especially with younger kids. Avoid using the mat on stairs or near sharp corners, and never place heavy items on top when someone is underneath.
